Sangeetha Hospital is one of the pioneer multi specialty hospitals offering medical services to people in and around Coimbatore City. Initially it was started as a 20 bedded hospital by Dr. Krishnasamy MD and Dr. Chandrika Krishnasamy in 1986. Over the years. Sangeetha Hospital has evolved into a multi-specialty hospital with 50 beds and 10 bedded ICU facility. Today we are one among the most recognized Hospitals in Coimbatore. Dr K Krishnasamy- a multifaceted personality, a visionary and ardent believer of social work, Born 3rd of April 1952 in a Village in Udumalpet, Completed his MBBS in Tirunelveli and Madurai Medical college. Moving to Coimbatore he set up a Clinic in Kuniyamuthur Rice mill Road. Continued his post graduation in MD General Medicine in Coimbatore medical College. Dr Krishnasamy alone with Dr Chandrika Krishnasamy started Sangeetha Hospital in the year 1986.

Dr K Krishnasamy – Chairman & MD
Dr K Krishnasamy- a multifaceted personality, a visionary and ardent believer of social work, has completed his MBBS in Tirunelveli and Madurai Medical college. He began his medical career by setting up a clinic in Kuniyamuthur, Coimbatore. He perused his post graduation in MD General Medicine in Coimbatore medical College. Dr Krishnasamy along with Dr Chandrika Krishnasamy started Sangeetha Hospital in the year 1986.He is an excellent clinician and has saved many lives by meticulous patient care. Being an eminent politician and social worker, his vision in establishing this medical centre is to provide affordable and quality health care to all sections of society including people below poverty line.

Dr. Chandrika Krishnasamy completed her MBBS from Calicut Medical College. She was the University Topper and Winner of President’s Medal for best outgoing student. Sangeetha Hospital is her vision and mission. She is the mentor of our organization guiding us in achieving our goal of dedicated and round the clock medical care to all. Her hard work as a full time consultant spanning over 30 years has earned her the reputation of being one of the most popular general consultants in Coimbatore. She has vast experience in Mother and Child care and general patient care.
Dr Sangeetha K – Chief Gynecologist
Dr. Sangeetha Omnath completed her DGO from Institute of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Madras Medical College at Chennai. Thereafter she has completed her MS Obstetrics and Gynecology from prestigious Sri Ramachandra Medical College, Chennai. She bagged many honors including “University topper and Winner of Gold Medal for best outgoing student”. She is an excellent clinician with impeccable surgical skills. Her areas of expertise include high risk pregnancy and infertility treatment. She performs complicated gynecologic procedures and Laparoscopic surgeries.
Dr R Omnath – Chief Cardiologist
Dr R Omnath did MBBS from Alappuzha Medical college. He won “Gold Medal in Anatomy”. He did his MD General Medicine from Madurai Medical College. He has completed his DM Cardiology from Sir JJ Hospital and Grant Medical College, Mumbai. He has won “BBraun scholarship” for Cardiology and was 2nd National runner up in Torrent Young Scholar Award in Cardiology He has more than 10 years of experience in interventional cardiology. Over the years he has done numerous interventions in both adult and pediatric age groups including Coronary and peripheral vascular interventions, Pacemaker implantation and Device therapy for congenital heart diseases. He is a life member of Cardiology Society of India and Indian college of Cardiology. He has published various case reports and research studies in highly reputed international Cardiology journals. His team ensures highly competent and meticulous care for all cardiac emergencies including Primary angioplasty, Intensive cardiac care and advanced life care support.
